Nové přednášky u prvňáčkůNew lectures for 1st class pupils

V úterý 21.5. jsme opět vyrazili na návštěvu FZŠ na Barrandově.  Přednášky proběhly v 1.A a 1.B. a užili jsme si to s dětmi stejně jako v březnu. Opět jsme se chtěli od dětí dozvědět  co ví nebo zda se vůbec někdy potkali s člověkem neslyšícím nebo sluchově postiženým; mluvili jsme s nimi o pravidlech, na které je při komunikaci potřeba myslet. Snažili jsme se jim ukázat, že prostředky k dorozumění

On Tuesday May 21st we visited the first school in Barrandov again.  During lectures in two classes we wanted to get more information on children general knowledge of the „silent“ world, if they have ever met a person with hearing impairment etc. We were pleased that we were accompanied by Veronika S. who is deaf and the Sign language is her „mother“ language.   With Veronika we talked to children about communication rules with people with hearing impairments, showed them some signs and SL alphabets, played a game focused on body language, answered their

Novinkou tentokrát bylo, že s námi na přednášky vyrazila i neslyšící Veronika S., kterou si děti moc oblíbily, a které tímto moc děkujeme. S Veronikou se děti učily prstovou abecedu, zahrály si speciální „tichou poštu“, mohly se Veroniky otevřeně ptát na to, co je zajímalo.

A proč tyto přednášky podnikáme a podnikat chceme i nadále?

Při přednáškách využíváme spontánnost a otevřenost dětí, naším přáním je hrou a povídáním dětem sdělit nové věci, ale také je zbavit zábran v komunikaci nejen s osobami se sluchovým postižením. V dětech a mladé generaci vidíme základ nové společnosti postavené na principech vstřícnosti, respektu a oceňování odlišností.

  
questions. We tried to explain to children that each of us has got all communication instruments and that the communication is only an effort to understand, to loose shyness from the first contact and a different way of a self-expression. Veronika was great and children liked her very much. And why do we organise these lectures? Why do we want to continue?

Using the spontaneity and the openness of the children we would like to teach children new things and liberate them from possible barriers in communication not only with people with hearing impairment.

We believe that children and young generation are the heart of new society built up on principles of openness, respect and appreciation of differences.
